Wow! It's been a while since I've been on this site, huh?
Cameron and I are making an offer and an adorable little home in Little Rock this week.
Isn't it super adorable? It is an older home, but the inside is completely redone. Along with a HUGE backyard... complete with the below HUGE deck!
I fell in love with it just through pictures... then we went to see it the other day, and I got giddy about seeing it all in person. Cameron said he really likes it as well and seemed to approve of the neighborhood and the safety of the house itself. We are excited to start that process. As much as we would LOVE to call this quaint house our home, we want God's will for us more. So, if you could all just send a prayer up for us that we will be able to hear God clearly and thoroughly, that would be an AMAZING blessing to us!!
Cameron started a new job working for a local construction company. He is loving it so far! They know all about the deployment and are working with him on that. They are also very family oriented. He has more benefits and paid holidays with this company as well! The best part? He works similar hours to me... Meaning that I come home to him... daily. =) It's great!!
Little Jack isn't so little anymore....
This is him just about a week or so ago. He likes to play guns-n-robbers. Whenever Cam or I hold up a hand gun, he goes absolutely wild (as you can see in the picture.) We found out that he isn't so much of a guard dog... yet. Caleb, Cameron's brother, came in around midnight last week and Jack just sat in the living room and looked at him. When Caleb said, "Hey, Jack!" Jack came running to him... happily.... tail wagging and all. Might I tell you, Jack had never seen Caleb in his life. He will learn. I know he will because just last night he got up and ran to the door barking... well, kind of. It was a quiet bark, but a bark nonetheless. And his little line of fur on the back of his neck was all poofed up and whatnot. Also, he has lost three teeth (that I have found) in the past two days. My little boy is growing up... =)
Liberty has stopped growing. When we first found her, the vet told us that she was maybe two months old. She was VERY sick and remained sick for another month. Needless to say, she is a little kitty. We know she was older due to the fact that she went in to heat just one month later. (Let me tell you.... when a cat goes in to heat, you don't sleep due to the howling and growling. It was awful. Side not - PSA: Spay and Neuter your animals! If not for them... for you.) We took her to the vet a few days later and got that problem 'fixed' if you know what I mean. She's about ten months old now, and can still body slam Jack when she needs to. She's a tough little girl.
Well, I think I have caught you all up on the important things. I most likely forgot a lot, but if I remember anything, I'll let you know.
Thank for reading! Please continue to pray for us as we are going down this road. We still have lots to learn (Well, me more so than Cameron.) I don't think there is such thing as "too much prayer" for anything.. but, ESPECIALLY this journey!
